Freedom!

I see it in a distance
It seems elusive
I know its real!
Vivid in my dreams
Clear in my childhood
I know it exists!

As a child,
I have tasted it
Feel cheated by what I know
Hopeful of the unknown

Here it comes fast,
Loud, rumbling like a Revolution!
I smell it sweet and bloody.

I need it
I want it
Freedom!
